The Dhaka Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board has announced another extension for the ongoing HSC exam form filling process. This marks the fourth extension, allowing students to apply until June 2, 2024.
The late fee payment deadline through 'Sonali Sheba' has been rescheduled to June 3, 2024. Educational institutions are expected to complete the form-filling process for their students within this period, with the head of the institution confirming the completion.
The HSC exams are set to begin on June 30, 2024. Initially, the form-filling started on April 16 and was supposed to continue until April 25. However, the deadline was first extended to May 5, then to May 12, followed by another extension to May 20, and now, it has been extended to June 2.
The total fees for the exam include charges for each paper, practical exams, academic transcripts, original certificates, Boy Scouts and Girl Guides fees, and National Education Week fees. Additionally, irregular students, GPA improvement, and private exam candidates have specific enrollment and renewal fees, with a late fee applied.
Each candidate also has to pay center and practical exam fees, with an evaluation fee for practical answer papers. For science stream candidates, the total fee is Tk. 2,680, while for humanities and business education candidates, it is Tk. 2,120, with additional charges for practical tests in optional subjects. T
