The Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee has confirmed that the HSC and equivalent exams will be held according to the original syllabus and manpower distribution. This information was shared today by Tapan Kumar Sarkar, the President of the Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee and Chairman of the Dhaka Education Board. A recent notification circulated on social media suggested that the HSC and equivalent exams in 2024 would be evaluated based on a shortened marks scheme. However, this notification has been declared fake by the Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee. They clarified that the exam preparations are ongoing according to the original syllabus set by the National Curriculum and Textbook Board.

The postponed exam schedule for the HSC and equivalent exams will be announced soon through various electronic and print media, including the Dhaka Education Board's website. Students and all concerned are advised to remain cautious and rely on official sources for updates.

The HSC and equivalent exams initially began on June 30 across the country. However, due to the violence surrounding the quota reform movement, several exam dates in July and August were postponed. These dates include July 18, 21, 23, 25, 28, and August 1 and 4. The exams were rescheduled to begin on August 11 but were postponed again due to ongoing concerns.

The Education Board is working to finalize a new schedule and is committed to ensuring that the exams are conducted smoothly. Students and parents are urged to stay informed through official channels and avoid spreading or believing in misinformation. The committee reassures that all necessary steps are being taken to ensure the safety and fairness of the upcoming exams.
