The quarterly meeting of the District Human Rights Defender Network (HRD) was held in Jamalpur with the aim of creating mass awareness against all kinds of human rights violations including prevention of ongoing violence against women and children. The chief guest spoke to the executive director of the development association. Rafiqul Alam Mollah. Convener of HRD Network Jamalpur District Committee Jahangir Selim presided over the meeting held at DNRC Training Center of Unnayan Sangha. Among others, Murshed Iqbal, Assistant Director Program of Unnayan Sangha, HRD members Liton Sarkar, Asmaul Asif, Nazrul Islam, Helal Uddin, Likha, Faria and others spoke on the occasion. The program was conducted by Arju Ahmed, Member Secretary of HRD Network.
The meeting identified every human rights incident, collected information and sent the information to the Member Secretary through mobile messages, organized protest programs, intensified various propaganda campaigns including various media.
Motivating, strengthening networking among oneself and urging every member to be inspired with patriotism and philanthropy. Iftar was organized at the end of the discussion meeting.
