Bangladesh High Performance team suffered their second successive second defeat in the Top End T20 Series in Australia when they went down by eight wikcets to Adelaide Strikers Academy in Darwin on Wednesday.
Led by Akbar Ali, following their impressive 77 runs winning start against Melbourne Renegades Academy on Sunday, lost to Tasmania in the previous match (second match) on Tuesday and suffered the second defeat to Adelaide yesterday.
Thanks to a rapid 42 off 32 balls from Shamim Hossain and 36 runs from Akbar Ali following 26 runs from the opener Jishan Alam, Bangladesh HP team managed to socre 147 for eight after deciding to bat first.
Tim Oakley and Harry Manenti claimed three wickets each for the Adelaide Academy.
Opener Jake Winter played a splendid 82 from 54 deliveries, as chasing to a moderate target the Big Bash outfit Adelaide Academy completed the job by 17.4 overs losing only two wickets.
Pacers Abu Hider and Ripon Mondol picked up one wicket each for Bangladesh HP.
