Bangladesh HP team who had a 79-run lead in the first innings, were all out for 216 runs and offered Pakistan Sheen team 295 runs to win the four-day match.
Pakistan team finished the Day Three with scoring 136 runs losing four wickets and they need 160 runs in the last day with six wickets in hand, as Bangladesh team have a good opportunity to win the match.
However, the Bangladesh High Performance (HP) team, who could not start well their tour of Australia, as suffered a 148-run defeat in the first four-day match against Pakistan Shaheens, in the second match in Darwin, they bounced back well and took 294 runs lead.
Meanwhile, Shaheen (Pakistan A team) scored 179 runs in response to Bangladesh's 258 runs in the first innings.
Bangladesh HP started the third day with 84 runs for three wickets when the two unbeaten batters Mahmudul Hasan Joy and Aich Mollah scored a half-century each.
Mahmudul Hasssan was dismissed by Mohammad Ali after scoring 65 runs off 118 balls when Aich was the victim of the same bowler after scoring 58 runs off 123 balls.
None of the rest of the batters could capitalise the advantage of a good start when Shahadat Hossain Dipu scored 33 runs off 55 balls and Mahidul Islam returned to dressing room after scoring 23 runs off 26 balls. Mohammad Ali of Pakistan Shaheen was the highest wicket taker with claiming six wickets for 63 runs in his 24.1 overs spells.
Shaheen chasing to a bit daunting task of 295 runs in the fourth innings, Hasib Ullah and Shahibzada Farhan set a solid foundation making 96 runs at the opening stand.
Mahmudul made the first breakthrough with taking the aggressive man Shahibzada who scored 68 runs from 70 balls.
After Mahmudul’s breakthrough, Bangladesh picked up three more wickets with Rezaur Rahman Raja captured two and Hassan Murad picked up one wickets.
But Shaheen’s other opener Haseeb Ullah is still on the crease with 44 runs off 98 balls when Taiyab Tahir is along with him with scoring four runs off 14 balls.
