Bangladesh High-Performance (HP) team is set to participate in the upcoming Top End T20 series in Australia's Northern Territory, which kicks off in August.
This year's edition of the tournament sees an expansion from six teams in 2023 to nine teams, providing the HP team with an exciting opportunity to test their skills against a wider range of competitors.
The HP team will face off against several notable teams, including Pakistan's A team, the Pakistan Shaheens, and Big Bash League sides Perth Scorchers and Adelaide Strikers. Alongside these teams, seven local teams will be competing in the tournament, making it a highly competitive environment for the HP team to gain valuable experience.
This exposure to high-quality competition is expected to be a significant boost for the HP team's development. The experience of playing against established domestic sides and international A teams will provide them with valuable insights and help them hone their skills in a challenging cricketing environment. HP team will play against Melbourne Renegades on August 11, Tasmania on August 12, Adelaide on August 14. After the ACC Comets on August 15, they will play against Pakistan Shaheens on August 16. Bangladesh team's last match in the group stage on August 17. There will be two semi-finals and the final on August 18.
