Police recovered the hanging body of a housewife from Jhilangja area in Cox’s Bazar Sadar Upazila on Sunday. The deceased was identified as Rasheda Akter Rifa, 20, wife of Sohail Rana of Dakkhin Muhuri Para in Jhilangja. Cox's Bazar Sadar Police Station men recovered her body from Dakkhin Muhuri Para in Jhilamgja area.
According to the police and local sources, the family used to have quarrels. The locals informed the police by calling 999 emergency number, when Rashida did not open her door on Sunday.
Later, the police broke down the door and recovered Rashedar's hanging body. Cox's Bazar Sadar Model Police Station's Officer-in-Charge Md. Khairuzzaman confirming the matter said, police had been sent to the spot.
