Police recovered partially decomposed body of a housewife from a field of Dadpur village of Kaliganj upazila in Jhenaidah on Friday. The diseased was identified as Keya Khatun, 15, daughter of Abdus Samad of Trilochanpur village of the upazila.
Relatives of Keya Khatun said that she was married to Sabjel Hossain of Narendrapur village in the same upazila about four months ago. She had been studying in class eight in Baliadanga Dakhil Madrashah.
They said she was living in the house and went missing since 8 PM of February 26. The relatives could not trace her anyway. Later the partially decomposed body was found in the field at Dadpur village.
Additional superintendent of police in Jhenaidah Sadar circle Abul Bashar when contacted said they were informed by the locals and recovered the body. It was sent to Jhenaidah Sadar hospital morgue for post mortem (PM) examination. The PM report might help detect the clue and reason behind the death of the girl.
