Home Affairs Adviser Lt Gen (retd) Jahangir Alam Chowdhury on Monday paid homage to martyred police members of the Liberation War at the Rajarbagh Police Memorial.
Later, the home Adviser visited the Central Police Hospital at Rajarbagh and enquired about the treatment of police members who were injured during the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement, according to a press release.
He also gave directive to authorities concerned to ensure proper treatment of the injured police personnel.
Inspector General of Bangladesh Police Md Moinul Islam, director general of RAB AKM Shahidur Rahman and DMP commissioner M Mainul Hasan, among others, accompanied the adviser, according to the press release.
