Today is the sixth death anniversary of KM Hemayet Ullah Aurangajeb, a veteran freedom fighter and a former lawmaker, said a press release.
He died on this day (August 3) in a road accident in 2013 on Dhaka-Mawa highway in Munshiganj.
Hemayet Ullah Aurangajeb was elected as the lawmaker from Shariatpur-1 constituency in 1991. He was again elected as an independent lawmaker from the same constituency in 2001 polls.
A milad mahfil will be held today (Saturday) in his own residence at Hatirpool Pukurpar in the capital and at his village home also.
