Health Minister Zahid Maleque has said he likes any positive criticism against him and takes it positively.
He made the statement while taking part in a discussion on a bill on Bangladesh Shishu Hospital and Institute in Parliament on Wednesday.
Amid criticism against him and his ministry by opposition lawmakers, the minister said, “The health ministry has to so many things that you cannot understand.”
He said the average life expectancy in Bangladesh would have not reached 73 years had not the health sector improved in the country. “It (rise in average life expectancy) is the contribution of the health ministry.”
