The hanging body of an old woman was recovered from Telgachhiya Village in Mithaganj Union of Kalapara Upazila under Patuakhali district on Sunday. The incident occurred on Saturday night.
The deceased was identified as Aklima Begum, 60, a mother of four children. She is the wife of late Anowar Khan of the same village.
Sub-Inspector (SI) of Kalapara thana informed that there was a quarrel between Aklima Begum with her daughter Lizu on that night. The body was sent for autopsy.
