Handball coaches technical course programme began on Thursday at Shaheed Captain M Mansur Ali Handball Stadium with an aim to develop quality handball coaches, said a press release.
Bangladesh Olympic Association's Secretary General Syed Shahed Reza formally inaugurated the eight-day coaches' course as the chief guest.
In the opening ceremony, former handball trainer Ali Azgar Khan was present as special guest while General Secretary of Bangladesh Handball Federation (BHF) Asaduzzaman Kohinoor was present along with its officials.
A total of 40 selected trainees from district sports associations, services and handball clubs of the country got the opportunity to participate in the course, organised by BHF.
The course, which conducted under the supervision of Bangladesh national handball coach Kamrul Islam Kiran, will end on November 16 with the distribution of certificates.
