AF Hasan Arif, adviser to the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism and Lands, said that the Election Commission has been formed. Now the government will move towards the election step by step.

The adviser said this while talking to reporters after visiting the Asian International Trade Fair at BICC in Sher Bangla Nagar of the capital on Friday. Hasan Arif said that all those who have come to the Election Commission are experienced. Hope that they can present a good selection.

Thanking the organizers for organizing the fair as a private initiative, he said, I got the flavour of the village fair in this fair. Foreigners also come to this kind of fair. They come to the fair to see culture and tradition in Bangladesh. Fairs are a place to showcase our native culture. This fair will play an important role in the expansion of our tourism.

Restrictions in Saint Martin will not affect tourism in the country, said the adviser, saying that Saint Martin is the only coral island in the country. Each Hotel has a capacity. If 30 people go to a 10-bed hotel, everything gets messy. Service deteriorates. The environment is destroyed. The island has already suffered a lot due to rush of tourists. We want to bring it to a manageable position. To keep St. Martin alive it is advisable to take tourism to its capacity.

Stating that plastic is causing damage to corals, he said, "If it continues to increase and it has reached a critical point, we need to limit it first and then clean it up at a huge cost." Restrictions are given to save Saint Martin.

When asked are the traders being affected, hereplied, the first question is whether they have done research there or not. It is the responsibility and duty of those who are operating the tourist or those who are providing services there to conduct a survey there.

The 17-day long Asia International Trade Fair has been going on at the China Friendship Conference Center in Agargaon in the capital since November 7. The fair will end on November 23. Stalls of various products including furniture, crockery, cosmetics, toys, ready-made garments, textiles,

plastics have been participated in the fair.
