The government has decided to close all primary schools indefinitely. This news was shared by Mahbubur Rahman Tuhin, the public relations officer of the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education, on Wednesday.
The decision was made to ensure the safety of the students. Primary schools will stay closed until further notice.
In addition, the Ministry of Education announced the closure of all secondary and higher secondary level schools, colleges, madrasas, and technical institutes. Polytechnic institutes under the Ministry of Education will also be closed until further orders.

Similarly, colleges affiliated with the National University have been declared closed. The National University’s press release said that all colleges and institutions under the university will remain closed until further notice.
