Khulna Divisional Commissioner Dr Anwar Hossain Howlader has called upon the government officials and members of law enforcing agencies to play vital role against drug. The role of government officials is very significant in curbing the drug menace in the country. So they have to take tough action in this regard, he added.
He made the call at the monthly law and order committee meeting in Chudanga held at conference room of DC office on Sunday. Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Chuadanga Nazrul Islam presided over the meeting.
Superintendent of Police (SP) of Chuadanga Jahidul Islam, ADC (general) Mohammad Yeahia Khan, Dr Shamim Kabir, Monira Parveen, Munshi Alamgir and others were present at the meeting.
Dr Anwar Hossain Howlader asked the officers of district administration and the law enforcers also to play vital role against child marriage and sexual harassment.
