The Directorate of Youth Development under the Ministry of Youth and Sports has announced free admission to freelancing training courses for young people. The training is being offered under the 'Employment Creation Project through Freelancing Training of Educated Job Prospective Youth' in 16 districts across 8 divisions of the country. Those who get selected for the training will receive a daily allowance of 200 taka.
According to the notice, the freelancing training is available in Dhaka, Gopalganj, Gazipur, Shariatpur, Madaripur, Rajbari, Cumilla, Laxmipur, Chandpur, Rajshahi, Narail, Thakurgaon, Bhola, Sherpur, Sylhet, and Sunamganj districts. Applications for the new batch have already started and will continue until September 18. Interested candidates can apply online through the designated link provided in the notice.
The selection process involves a written test scheduled for September 22, followed by an oral test on September 24 for those who pass the written test. The final list of selected candidates will be published on September 26. No admission fee is required for the training.
Successful candidates will get 200 taka per day as an allowance during the training period. The training aims to help young people learn freelancing skills that can open doors to job opportunities and self-employment. This initiative is part of the government’s efforts to reduce youth unemployment and equip young people with the skills needed to earn income through freelancing.
