Action plans are implemented through the we Citizen Charter. Chief Engineer Md. Ali Akhtar Hossain, LGED will have an opportunity for people to give their opinion on all projects. Therefore, the participation of local representatives should be increased.
There is a monitoring team to ensure that the engineering works are always completed, so the contractors are frustrated. If the contractor gives a good rate, he will also get profit. All over the world there will be conflicts between engineers and contractors. Think about it simply, the relationship will be stronger. There is no shortage of funds this year.
However, this time the progress of work has increased by 60 percent in Chittagong. Contractors have a role for that. 3,500 workers have been recruited this year. Small complaints work, but if there is coordination, the quality of work will also be better. We want people to be involved in establishing good governance. Also don't pay on the same road again and again, because the rules are the same all over the world. As the government will have money, it cannot be spent at will. There should be a tenure of three years on the same road. All works shall be supervised by contractors and engineers. Crop land should be used properly. It is necessary to do the development work of the project focusing on the rural haat-bazar. The main objective of LGED is to develop rural infrastructure.
The speakers in the meeting related to the National Integrity Strategy and Action Plan emphasized on the adoption of the action plan for the implementation of the National Integrity Strategy.
