Govt changes curriculum for 4th industrial revolution: Dipu Moni

Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni on Friday said the government is attaching importance to creating skilled manpower and change the educational curriculum to face the challenge of the fourth Industrial Revolution.

The Minister said this while speaking as chief guest at a reunion of the former students of Rajshahi College at the college ground in the afternoon, said a PID handout.

“The government is working to increase investment in education sector to six percent of GDP,” she said.

“We’re also engaged in enhancing investment on teachers because quality education depends on the excellence of teachers”, she said, emphasising enhancement of research activities at educational institutions.

Among others, State Minister for Foreign Affairs Shahriar Alam and State Minister for ICT Zunaid Ahmed Palak spoke at the programme presided over by Prof Md Habibur Rahman, Principal of Rajshahi College.
