Bangladesh Air Force has completed the physical and infrastructural development as well as beautification of Runway Lake adjacent to the old Tejgaon Airport.
The newly developed area has been named 'Garden by the Runway,' and an inauguration ceremony was held on Friday at Air Headquarters (Unit).
Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister Muhammad Faruk Khan inaugurated the 'Garden by the Runway' as the chief guest.
The ceremony was attended by Chief of Air Staff of the Bangladesh Air Force, Air Chief Marshal Shaikh Abdul Hannan, as well as Tahmida Hannan, President of BAFWWA Central Council and Chief Patron of BAF Ladies Club. Additionally, Assistant Chiefs of Air Force, senior officers of Air Force Headquarters, and invited guests graced the occasion with their presence.
