A woman gave birth to quadruplets at a clinic in Gaibandha district town on Saturday night through a cesarean section. The woman, Dulali Begum, 30, is the wife of Shah Alam of Shimultaur village at Saghata upazila in the district.
Dulali delivered two boys and two girls at Gaibandha Clinic. The mother and newborns are now in good health, said Dr Ekram Hossain of the clinic.
Born of four babies at same birth is the first case in this clinic, Dr Ekram said, adding that nearby people are crowding at the clinic to see the babies.
