Coast Trust has provided personal protective equipment (PPE) to a funeral committee formed by the Cox's Bazar District Administration. Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC-Revenue) of Cox's Bazar and head of the funeral committee Mohammad Ashraful Afsar handed over the PPE to Jahangir Alam, assistant director of the company on Saturday (April 18) noon.
Cox's Bazar News.com (CBN) news editor Imam Khair, social movement organizer and news activist HM Nazrul Islam, special reporter for C Plus TV Ehsan Al Qutubi and Coast Trust official Zulfiqar Hossain were present during the event.
Earlier on April 13, Coast Trust has handed over 6 sets of PPE to the Upazila Executive Officer (UNO) Md Nikaruzzaman Chowdhury for the burial of coronavirus patients in Ukhiya. Earlier, The NGO, which is the country's leading private company, also provided cash subsidy of Tk 4.5 lakh in the district administration, upazila administration and coronavirus funds, is the country's leading private company.
They also provided financial support to various individuals and organizations in the global coronavirus pandemic crisis. Besides, they distributed leaflets to raise awareness among Rohingya and local residents. Employees of the Coast Trust have been campaigning in mosques, temples and various social groups.
The NGO will continue to provide assistance as a humanitarian agency, said Rezaul Karim Chowdhury, executive director of the Coast Trust. He urged the people and organizations to stand beside the common people in this disaster.
