Rapid Action Battalion RAB-11 has arrested a fugitive accused named Md Ismail (36) in the murder case from Subarnachar Upazila of Noakhali.
The arrested Md. Ismail is the son of Safiqul Islam Rafiq of Rahmanpur area of Manpura police station of Bhola district.
Earlier, RAB arrested him in front of Subarnachar Upazila Parishad on Monday (August 1) around noon.
In a press release on Monday (August 1) night, RAB-11 CPC-3 Noakhali camp company commander Mahmudul Hasan confirmed this information and said that the accused Ismail is a resident of Manpura police station area of Bhola district. He has been living in Charjabbar Thana area of Noakhali district for a long time. He established a reign of terror in the neighboring Char area of Noakhali and Bhola districts.
He intimidates the locals and extorts them. There are multiple murder cases against him in Hatia and Charjabbar police stations. When a warrant of arrest was issued against him, he was fleeing to different areas to cover his cover.
Later he was arrested by secret news. The arrested accused has been handed over to Char Jabbar police station.
