At least four people sustained bullet injuries in a factional clash at a voting centre in Araihajar of Narayanganj on Sunday.
The incident took place at Ramchandi Government Primary School Centre in Araihajar around 10:30 am on Sunday.
The injured are: Md. Kamal Hossain (18), Md. Simon (17), Md. Shakib (25) and Abdur Noor (56).
Injured Abdur Noor said that while standing in line at the polling station four of us sustained bullet injuries. Later we were rescued and taken to a local hospital.
The injured were brought to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) around 2:00 pm for better treatment.
DMCH Police Camp In-charge Bachchu Mia said that the injured are undergoing treatment. All of them have been shot in the leg, they have been kept under observation, said the doctor.
