Members of the Armed Police Battalion (APBn) detained four Rohingyas with weapons from Raikshyang area of Unchiprang in Teknaf of Cox’s Bazar. The operation was carried out around 10:30 pm on Monday.
A home-made weapon, a round of ammunition and a Ramda were recovered from them during the operation.
Cox's Bazar 17 Armed Police Battalion Commander Tariqul Islam Tariq confirmed the matter.
The arrestees are Hamidullah alias Gunia, 25, Furkan, 20, Md Ayash, 21, and Nur Alam, 20.
The four detainees were handed over to Teknaf Police Station.
