Hotel cum restaurant Four Points by Sheraton Dhaka has welcomed a new guest chef Anto Dwimanto, a true culinary magician. Originally from Indonesia, Anto Dwimanto has mastered the art of Teppanyaki style and Japanese cuisine with innovative new culinary creations. Teppanyaki comprises of blades moving at dazzling speed across a grill and flames rising high into the air putting precise hand and eye coordination to test.
“It is very exciting to have new inputs of ideas and Chef Anto certainly shares our passion for producing top-notch dishes created using fresh and seasonal ingredients. As we move forward there will be a few changes to our menu, to complement our current offering,” said Mashfa Alam, Marketing Coordinator, Four Points by Sheraton Dhaka.
Having a vast experience working in different luxurious hotels and restaurants such as Golden Budha Mamoa, Atlanta, Georgia, USA, Little Of Tokyo, Maryland, USA, Sakura Ocean City, Maryland, USA, P and O Cruise Ship, Australia, Desember, Grand Garden Café and Resto, Bogor-Indonesia and many more, now Chef Anto has come to Four Points by Sheraton Dhaka to show his culinary expertise and present delectable Indonesian and Japanese cuisines to the people of Dhaka.
Anto’s passion for cooking began with the fond memories of grilling and smoking meats with his father. He discovered his interest for the culinary arts while experimenting with Indonesian beef stew with Rendang sauce for his family at the age of 15. “Don’t be scared, go and burn yourself trying a new experiment. Try to be a good cook first, before becoming a great Chef,” concluded Anto.
