Four drug dealers were held with drugs during separate operations of Bogura DB police and Dupchanchia police on Friday night.
Bogura District DB Police In-Charge Abdur Razzak said three drug dealers were arrested in a special operation by DB. Among them, Rehena, a fugitive accused in 10 drug cases were also arrested.
The arrestees are identified as Jihad, 19, of Gokul area in Bogura Sadar, Milon Mia, 25, of Sariakandi upazila and Rehena Begum, 52, of Sultanganj area in Bogura city. 10 bottles of Phencidyl were recovered from Jihad, 1 kg of cannabis from Milon and 102 pieces of Yaba pills from Rehena.
On the other hand, Paban Sarkar, accused in 10 drug cases was arrested from Dupchanchia Mail bus stand area with 150 grams of cannabis on Thursday night. Paban is the son of late Shankar Sarkar of Mailbus Stand Majhipara area.
Dupchanchia Police Station Officer-in-Charge Hasan Ali said Pawan Sarkar was accused in 10 drug cases. A case has been filed against him under the Narcotics Prevention Act.
