Pabna district Directorate of National Consumer Rights Protection fined a total of Tk 32,000 to four business establishments in Chatmohar upazila of Pabna on Saturday for not keeping price list of consumer products.
A drive was conducted on Saturday noon and the four business establishments were fined as they did not keep or show the price lists for the consumer products.
Assistant Director of Pabna district Directorate of National Consumer Rights Protection led the drive.
Sources from district Directorate of National Consumer Rights Protection said Swad Restuant at Purano Bazar was fined Tk 15,000, Eklahi Poultry Feed in Narikelpara was fined Tk 10,000, Bondhu Egg Warehouse in the same area was fined Tk 5,000 and Boral Poultry in Purano Bazar was fined Tk 2,000 for not keeping price list and various other offenses. All of the four business establishments are located in Chatmohar municipality sadar area.
Chatmohar Upazila Livestock Officer Dr Swapon Kumar Sarker, policemen from Chatmohar police station and student coordinators were present at that time.
