Former President AQM Badruddoza Chowdhury has been hospitalised due to a lung infection. He was admitted to Uttara Women's Medical College Hospital on Wednesday morning.
According to a press release from his secretary, Jahangir Alam, Badruddoza has a pre-existing heart condition called ischemic heart disease. His daughter, Dr Shaila Chowdhury, provided this information.
He is currently under the care of Dr Aparna Rahman, head of cardiology, along with two other specialists, Dr Maruf Bin Habib and Dr Shaila Chowdhury. Further updates on his condition are expected.
