Rotary Club of Uttara, Rotary Club of Faridpur, Inner Wheel Club of Uttara and Rotaract Club of Uttara organized a programme to distribute food packets among flood affected people under humanitarian assistance in Faridpur on Thursday afternoon.
Food packages were distributed among 100 distressed families in the flood-affected areas of Faridpur including RCC Village, Baliadangi, Decree Union and Faridpur Sadar Upazila at the initiative of Rotary Club of Faridpur. At the time each families were provided 5 kg of rice, 1 kg of lentils, 1 liter of soybean oil, 3 kg of potatoes, 1 kg of onion, a hand washing soap, a wheel soap and a dozen packets of matches.
The program was implemented under the leadership of Rotarian Advocate Golam Rabbani Bhuiyan Ratan, President of Faridpur Rotary Club while other members attended.
