Dhaka Division Divisional Commissioner Md. Khalilur Rahman visited the flood affected areas of Haor and distributed food items among the flood victims. On morning, he distributed dry food and relief items among the flood-affected people at the Balikhola of Sutarpara Union under Karimganj Upazila and 7 No Daulatpur Government Primary School Shelter of Gopdighi Union under Mithamin Upazila in Kishoreganj.
Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Shamim Alam, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Education and ICT) Mohammad Golam Mostafa, Water Development Board Executive Engineer Md. Matiur Rahman, concerned Upazila Executive Officer, concerned Union Parishad Chairman were present during the inspection of flood affected areas and distribution of food items.

Dhaka Divisional Commissioner Md. Khalilur Rahman said the floods were not man-made, but natural disasters. Don't worry, the government is on your side. You will get all the support you need. There are administration officials, they will deliver food to the homes of helpless people. The government will continue to distribute relief to you.
Before visiting the flood affected areas and distributing relief, political personalities, officials of various government departments and media personnel exchanged views on the overall action taken by the district administration in the conference room of Circuit House on Tuesday night.
