Five new cars have been added to transport pool Jahangirnagar University (JU) on Tuesday. Among them, there are 2 AC minibus of 28 seats, 1 non AC minibus of 30 seats, 1 large microbus of 16 seats and 1 pickup.
Vice- Chancellor (VC) of the university Profe Dr. Farzana Islam inaugurated these 5 cars in front of old register building.
Among others, Pro-Vice Chancellor (Education) Dr. Md. Nurul Alam, Treasurer Professor Sheikh Md. Monjurul Haque, Deans of different faculties, Acting Register, Acting Officer of Transport Office prof Ali Azam Talukder, teachers of different departments, officers and employees were present. While inaugurating the Vice Chancellor stressed on the safety of the roads, increasing the quality of transport services and the responsibility of the drivers and the care of the drivers.
