Depression has formed again in the Bay of Bengal. As a result, the sea is getting rough. Thousands of fishing trawlers in the middle of the sea to catch hilsa are returning to safe haven. According to information received from the Met Office, the Met Office has asked sea ports to hoist warning signal number 3. At the same time, fishing trawlers in coastal areas are asked to return to safe shelter.

As a result, thousands of fishermen have been returning with trawlers to Alipur and Mahipur fish landing centers in Patuakhali since last Monday (September 19).

Coastal fishermen are not getting any relief from hunting hilsa in the sea after the blockade. They have to return after four days due to repeated bad weather. So everyone concerned is disappointed not to get the desired fish.

General Secretary of Mahipur Trawler Owners Association Raja said that the weather was bad from 10th to 15th of this month so fishermen could not go to sea. On the 16th, if the weather is good, the fishermen go to the sea for fishing. But today, when the sea is rough again, they come safely.

Local fisherman Sohel Nazir said that many people could not see the fish as the weather got worse after going down to the sea.

Therefore, the fishermen's debt increased from Tk 50 thousand to Tk 1 lakh for each trawler. The famine has been going on for the past few years.

Proprietor of Kuakata Russell Phis. Russell said, from October 7, another 22-day blockade. Therefore, our profession will be stunned again.

According to meteorological sources, a low pressure has formed over North Bay of Bengal. Three local warning signals have been issued to seaports monitoring the low pressure.

It is located far away from Bangladesh and close to India. Rainfall is likely to increase in the next 24 hours. Fishing boats and trawlers in the deep sea have been asked to remain in safe shelter until further notice.
