A fire erupted on the eighth floor of a 12-story residential building on Road No. 5 in Dhanmondi on Wednesday morning, injuring three people. The victims were rescued and taken to the hospital.
Firefighters responded quickly, receiving the alarm at 10:25 am and arriving at the scene by 10:40 am Six firefighting units managed to control the blaze by 11:17 am, according to Md. Shahjahan Shikder, spokesperson for the Fire Service. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
