Bangladesh House Building Finance Corporation (BHBFC) organised a special seminar on ‘FinTech for Sustainable Development in Financial Sector of Bangladesh’ on 29th May at the institution’s Training Center in the capital. Prof. Dr. Md. Salim Uddin, FCA, FCMA, The Chairman Board of Directors, BHBFC was the chief guest on the occasion. He presented the key note paper and discussed on the topic. Mr. Md. Afzal Karim, the Managing Director of BHBFC spoke in relevant matter as the special guest. DMD Mr. Arun Kumar Chowdhury and General Manager Mr. Md. Atikul Islam also spoke on the subject matter. GM Mr. Prolaya Kumar Bhattacharyya presided over the opening ceremony of the seminar. Including top executives 50 officials of the institution physically attended the seminar while officers of all field offices virtually attended the program.
Dr. Salim emphasising on adopting FinTech process called up on the participants to cope up with the 4th Industrial Revolution to accomodate with the global change in this regard. Mr. Afzal Karim briefly narrated modern Financial Technology prevailing round the glove. He arged the officials to develop the organisation according to the FinTech changes.
