The primary admission process for the fourth phase of undergraduate first-year students for the 2023-24 academic year at 24 universities in the GST cluster begins on Saturday. Final admissions are scheduled for October 5, with classes set to start on October 20.
According to a notification on the batch admissions website, the preliminary admission process must be completed between September 28 at 12:00 PM and September 29 at 11:59 PM. Students are required to pay an initial admission fee of Tk 5,000 online via the GST website (https://gstadmission.ac.bd/).
Final admissions, which will include various quota allocations, will take place from October 5 to 27. Each university will announce its specific quotas and admission details on its website.
Students who have been initially admitted in the third and fourth phases and are selected for various quotas must submit their original mark sheets (SSC/equivalent and HSC/equivalent) at the time of final admission. Classes for the academic year will commence on October 20, with each university determining its schedule based on convenience. If there are available seats after final admissions and the agriculture cluster admission process, the 2023-24 academic year will also allow for subject and university migrations within the GST cluster.
Details regarding the submission of original mark sheets for students admitted in the first and second phases will be announced later.
