Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina starrer short film 'Bangabandhu Kanya Sheikh Hasina' soon to be made. On Friday afternoon the ceremony of the upcoming movie was held at the Rajkahan International Csssonvention Center in the capital. The Speaker of Parliament Dr Shirin Sharmin Chowdhury was present as chief guest at the video conference along with special guests former Railway Minister Mujibul Haque MP and Member of Parliament for Chapainawabganj-1 constituency Dr Samil Uddin Ahmed Shimul.
The short film 'Bangabandhu Kanya Sheikh Hasina' is being produced under ATN Entertainment. The director of the company Ananya Ruma is in charge of the story, screenplay and direction of the film.
Speaker at the ceremony Dr Shirin Sharmin Chowdhury said, 'The initiative to make this film is very timely. Our Prime Minister is a world leader and this film will work to highlight different aspects of Bangabandhu's daughter's life to Bangladesh and the world. A message can be easily conveyed to everyone through this film. It has a different appeal.’
She further said, 'Sheikh Hasina is like her father, loves the people of Bangladesh very much. She is working to put the country's economy on a solid footing. Under her leadership, we have been able to move from least developed countries to developing countries like Qatar. I am very happy to know that a film is being made about the life of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, the great leader who is changing the destiny of the people of the country.’
Former Railway Minister Mujibul Haque said, 'The political history of the Prime Minister is very sweet, colorful. She is working to improve the condition of people of our country and developing the image of our country abroad. I hope that different aspects of the life of that leadership will come up in this film.'
