Election of the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) will be held on October 26. The world football governing body FIFA and the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) representatives are coming to observe the election. A FIFA-AFC representative also came in the last election of the BFF.
AFC representative Cattell will arrive on October 24. He is the head of AFC Member Association South Asian Unit. The day after he arrives, FIFA high official Prince Rousseff will arrive on October 25. He monitors the activities of FIFA member countries. Prince has visited Bangladesh several times. Apart from Prince, another official Mahmoud Mansoor from FIFA is also expected to come here in Dhaka.
There will be voting for the three posts of President, Vice-President and other 18 EC members except Senior Vice-President in BFF election.
A total of133 councilors will cast their votes to elect the BFF body.
