A delegation of the FBCCI handed over the food items and relief materials to the students at the Teacher-Student Centre (TSC) of Dhaka University (DU) on Tuesday night for distributing those among the flood-affected people in Cumilla, Noakhali, Feni and Chattogram districts.

The items include dry foods, purified water, oral saline, water purification tablets, rice, lentil, edible oil, spices and other necessary items, said an FBCCI press release here today.

FBCCI President Mahbubul Alam said it is the moral duty of the businessmen to stay beside the flood-hit people of the country.

equal rights for all and building a discrimination-free country will motivate

the countrymen," he said.

The chief of the country's apex trade body also said that the FBCCI, as the

representative of the private sector, would stand beside the affected people

in the future like in the past.

According to the release, the FBCCI has already made a fervent call to the

business community and people from all walks of life to stand beside the
