FBCCI President Mahbubul Alam paid a courtesy call on the newly appointed Home Adviser to the interim government of Bangladesh Lt. Gen. (Retd.) Jahangir Alam Chowdhury on Saturday at the adviser's residence in Baridhara in the capital.
During the call, FBCCI President discussed with the adviser on various economic activities including country's trade and business, keeping supply chain stable, ensuring safety in industrial hubs, stopping extortion on Roads & highways etc. and sought cooperation.
The Adviser Lt. Gen. (Retd.) Jahangir Alam Chowdhury assured to provide safety of all the citizens as well as the business community of the country as his assigned responsibility.
An official meeting of the business representatives with the Adviser will be held soon, FBCCI President informed.
