Speakers paid rich tributes to the memories and recalled Political and social contributions of late Fazlur Rahman Khan- an organizer of Liberation War, former president of Netrakona District Unit for long period, former Lawmaker and former member of the national committee of central Awami Leguein and associate of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu, at a memorial meeting marking his 12th death anniversary which held at local Public Hall on Saturday.
Habiba Rahman Khan Safali MP for women reserved seat and a daughter of late leader Fazlur Rahman Khan attended the meeting as the Chief guest while the meeting organized by Fazlur Rahman Khan Memorial Meeting Observing Committee (MMHC) to mark his 12th death anniversary.
Principal Golam Rasul Talukder, convener of Fazlur Rahman Khan Memorial Meeting Observing Committee(MMHC) presided over the meeting while it was addressed by among others, former lawmaker Chabi Biswas, chairman of Netrakona Zila parishad Prasanta Kumar Ray, mayor of Netrakona municipality Nazrul Islam Khan, chairman of Barhatta upazila parishad Mainul Haque Kasem, freedom fighter Muzammel Haque Bacchu, president of district bar association Advocate Sitangsu Bikash Acherjyo, Vice president of Netrakona Awami legue Habibur Rahman khan Ratan, joint secretary of district Awami League Nur Khan Mitu and president of district Krishak League Kashob Ranjan Sarker ,former Student leader Mojibul Alam Farash Hira, Gazi Muzammel Husain Tuku, Arpita Khanam Sumi including Juba League, Student league leaders and others.
