Veteran actor and Member of Parliament of Dhaka 17 constituency Faruk has regained his good health and is to return tomorrow in a flight of Bangladesh Biman at 3:30pm.

This has been confirmed by the actor himself.

Actor Faruk had been hospitalized in the capital switching two hospitals in the process.

His illness started in August 16 and on August 18 he was admitted to the capital’s United Hospital during this time he was suffering from constant fever reaching temperatures of 104 and 105 degrees.

Despite taking multiple coronavirus sample tests his reports continuously came as negative, as doctors couldn’t exactly diagnose his problems.

Later, on September 5, he was shifted to the Ever Care Hospital in the capital where doctors theorized that he was suffering from tuberculosis.

He was under the treatment of Dr Ebadur Rahman, Kidney Specialist and Dr Nikash Shaila, Medicine Specialist there. From there, after consulting Dr Lai in Singapore’s Mount Elizabeth Hospital he went there on September 13 via a special cargo plane.

But, there the couple was separated and kept in quarantine for fourteen days in separate rooms.

But after getting together following the quarantine, the actor went through regular treatment and it was confirmed that he was suffering from tuberculosis.

Finally after almost one and a half months the actor and his wife, Farhana Faruk, are going to return after successfully completing Faruk’s treatment.

He is doing well now. While talking to Bangladesh Post he said, “After much hurdle I have regained my previous health. I have missed my country and people throughout this long one and a half month. I am grateful to all those who have supported me through this ill time and have prayed for my good health. I will be returning home very soon. I really, appreciate everyone’s support. Thank you.”

The actor will be returning home via a flight of Bangladesh Biman on October 29 at 3:30pm.
