Actress Aupee Karim was star in popular filmmaker Mostafa Sorayar Farooki's first movie 'Bachelor'. They were never seen together on the movie screen again after that.
Once again they are coming together after so many years, but this time the actress will act as the heroine in Farooki's web series, not the film.
Recently director Farooki made an announcement for his upcoming web series, where Aupee Karim will play the lead role. For last few days this rumour has been spread in the showbiz.
However, when asked about the rumour to Farooki, he left it in suspense saying, "I don't want to talk about it right now, what you hear might happen or not, but I will let you know about everything when it is needed.”
Mostafa Sorayar Farooki himself recently shared about his web series on social handle incidentally, there he said even after going back many times I have decided to build a web series, although the name and subject are still not clear, it can be guessed that the title of the series will be ‘Notun Premer Teer’.
About the web series in a status on social media he wrote in detail, “We have been feeling that change is imminent for the last few years and we had no hesitation in embracing that change! I used to work for TV! Then came the opportunity to make movies for the theater! Now OTT has started a big change all over the world! Filmmakers around the world are thinking or working on OTT! For the last few years I have been preparing for it! Even then it took several years! After a long delay, I'm finally going to do my first job for the web!”
“There have been meetings with many platforms for the last 3 years! It has happened many times after a few meetings I locked the story! Then a few days later I thought, no- I don't want to do this story! And want to do something else, got stuck in dilemma! In this way, killing the possibility of many stories, the final one came to mind. I think this story is going to throw some new challenges for me as well! The new challenge is a lot like falling in love with someone new! If you don’t fall in love and experience it then there is no happiness in any work," he added.
He further wrote, ‘The name of the story, actors-actresses, the technical team, for what platform we are going to do, by the time we will tell everything! All I can say is that for the last 3 months we, we mean our cast and crew team are preparing hard for this job! As soon as you remember the work, our hard work will come in handy!
