ZEE5 Global, the largest OTT platform for South Asian content, has announced the launch of its Big Bangladeshi Original web series titled ‘Ladies & Gentlemen’. At a press event held on Monday, Archana Anand, Chief Business Officer, ZEE5 Global, unveiled the web series with celebrated and internationally acclaimed Bangladeshi Director Mostafa Sarowar Farooki.
The gripping trailer of the web series was unveiled at the virtual press event with director Farooki, the entire cast of ‘Ladies & Gentlemen’, and Archana Anand, Chief Business Officer present. The cast of the series Tasnia Farin, Partha Barua, Hasan Masood, Iresh Zaker, Mukit Zakaria, Pavel Areen, Maria Nur, and from the crew producer Nusrat Tisha, Tanvir Hossain and DOP Alexey Kosorukov came together to share their experience about working together for this ZEE5 Original.
‘Ladies & Gentlemen’, directed by Farooki and shot by globally acclaimed cinematographer Alexey Kosorukov, revolves around the life of an ordinary girl, her emotional journey to become the voice of each and every working woman in Bangladesh.
After the launch of the trailer, the cast shared a glimpse of all the fun that went behind the making of this web series. Camaraderie between the cast and crew was evident in the various anecdotes, laughs, and fun moments that they shared at the event.
Following the massive success of Bangladeshi Originals like Mainkar Chipay, WTfry, Contract, Jodi Kintu Tobuo, and the recently released ‘Thanda’, ZEE5 Global promises to deliver yet another compelling story with ‘Ladies & Gentlemen’.
The renowned director Mostafa Sarowar Farooki has already carved a significant place in the international arena with his notable works like Television, ‘Third Person Singular Number’, ‘Doob’ amongst others. Speaking about ‘Ladies & Gentlemen’, he said, “This is my first web series and that too on an international platform like Zee5 Global, so I am very thrilled with this partnership. We’ve put in a lot of effort with ‘Ladies & Gentlemen’, including partnering with an extremely talented international DOP Alexey Kosorukov. Set to premiere on July 9, ZEE5 Original web series ‘Ladies & Gentlemen’, will be available for free to watch for viewers in Bangladesh.
