Faridpur Padma Bridge Rail Link Project (Phase-1 and 2) and Pachchar-Bhanga Highway 4 Lane Development Project have distributed 250 LA cheques among the victims in compliance with the health rules.
Faridpur Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Mohammad Aslam Mollah handed over the LA check to the victims as the chief guest at Bhanga Upazila Government Pilot High School on Wednesday afternoon.
Chairman of Bhanga Upazila Parishad SM Habibur Rahman addressed the function as a special guest. Bhanga Upazila Assistant Commissioner Bhumi Mohammad Al Amin and Upazila Parishad Vice Chairman Maulana Isak Mollah were also present. The program was conducted by Md. Asadur Rahman, Land Acquisition Officer of the Deputy Commissioner's Office. In his speech, the chief guest said that in order to alleviate the suffering caused by the distribution of LA checks, an initiative has been taken to distribute checks in the concerned upazilas on a regular basis every month from now on and this process will continue.
