Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Anisul Huq has said that BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir doesn’t know how to respect his own
party men.
The minister said this while speaking at a function in Brahmanbaria on Friday. The function was arranged at NI Bhuiyan Degree College at Mulgram Union under Kasba upazila in the
district on the occasion of inaugurating newly-constructed building of the college.
Anisul Huq said that a BNP leader took oath as MP. But Mirza Fakhrul said he took oath coming under pressure from government agencies. He (Fakhrul) looks
for government’s shadow in
everywhere.
He also said that the government wants to get rid of drugs and militancy from the country as it does not wants to see repetition of
incidents like New Zealand and
Sri Lanka.
Presided over by President of governing body of NI Bhuiyan Degree College Motiur Rahman, the function was also attended, among others, by Chairman of Kasba Upazila Parishad Rashedul Kaiser Bhuiyan Jibon, former Chairman Anisul Haque Bhuiyan, Upazila Nirbahi Officer Hasina Islam, Kasba Awami League Joint Convener MG Haqqani and City Mayor Emran Uddin Jewel.
