Allegations have surfaced regarding a fake Facebook account using the photo of the Prime Minister’s Deputy Press Secretary (DPS) MM Imrul Kayes, promising to provide leaked questions for recruitment exams.

On Friday morning, upon noticing the matter, DPS Imrul Kayes issued a warning through a post on his verified Facebook account.

The fake account, created under the name ‘Engr Nazmul Sarkar’, has been luring individuals with promises of leaked exam questions. Kayes also shared a screenshot of a post from the fraudulent account on his Facebook page.

Kayes said, “The fake account, using my photo, is deceiving people and tarnishing my reputation.”

One of the posts on the fake account stated, “Questions for the 18th teacher registration exam scheduled on July 13 have been leaked. The leaked questions will be 100 percent common in the exam. Solutions will also be provided. Those who need the questions should message me immediately.”

Upon discovering the issue in the morning, Kayes urged everyone to remain cautious by informing various professional groups. The matter has been reported to the specialized units of the law enforcement agencies working to combat cybercrime.
