There is constant movement of CNG-powered auto-rickshaws including small and big pickups, bus-truck, ambulance, sedan cars, school buses. No vehicle is able to move normally due to potholes in the road. It seems that it has rained a little earlier as water has accumulated in different parts of the road. Besides, there is no drainage facility on the road and more damage is being done due to accumulation of water. It takes 40 to 45 minutes or more to cross the road in 10 minutes. Meanwhile, the school going students are struggling to reach the school on time. On the one hand, such as the suffering of the road, on the other hand, the embarrassment of time and rent. This was stated by the victims walking on the road.
Thousands of people from 4 unions and Sonagazi upazila of Feni district, including the largest fishery zone Muhuri project in Chattogram, use this important road. In addition, hundreds of students visit various educational institutions in Zorarganj every day. People of this area travel to hospitals, daily markets and upazila headquarters through this road. However, due to the dilapidated condition of the road, they are not able to do their daily work in time. Meanwhile, the parts of the moving vehicles are getting damaged and getting stuck on the road. Again, they are suffering financially. The Muhuri project is seen as the cause of the road breakdown, with hundreds of pickups and trucks plying on the road carrying water in drums to market fish every night in the lakes of Chattogram's largest fisheries project.
