A school headmaster was stabbed allegedly by his student in Manikganj on Sunday afternoon.
The victim is Mizanur Rahman, headmaster of Balirtek Khabashpur High School in Manikganj Sadar upazila.
Aftab Uddin, assistant headmaster of Khabashpur High School, said Mizanur Rahman was attacked by an expelled student of the school named Raju Ahmed and his associates. Raju got expelled from the school in 2022 while studying in Class IX for stalking schoolgirls.
He said Raju’s father Shahidul Islam was as an office assistant of Khabaspur High School.
The victim was first admitted to Manikganj hospital and later he was shifted to Dhaka for better treatment.
Manikganj Sadar police officer-in-charge Abdur Rauf said that the police were trying to arrest the accused.
