The Ministry of Religious Affairs has called upon six Hajj agencies for failing to issue visas to 1,875 pilgrims. The uncertainty looms the Hajj pilgrimage of these individuals due to visa delays.

According to a letter signed by Abu Tahir, Senior Assistant Secretary at the ministry, six agencies—World Tours and Travels, Ansari Overseas, Al-Risan Travel Agency, Miqat Tours and Travels, North Bengal Hajj Travels and Tours, and Holy Darunnajat Hajj Overseas—have been summoned.

Pilgrims began their journey to Saudi Arabia from May 9 this year, with over 19,000 pilgrims already arriving. Despite most of the 259 agencies successfully processing Hajj visas, six agencies have yet to issue visas despite repeated requests.

The Ministry of Religious Affairs has requested a thorough explanation regarding the delayed issuance of Hajj visas by these agencies. Additionally, instructions have been issued to expedite the visa process for all Hajj pilgrims.
